Featuring furniture made from reclaimed wood (from the massive headboards to the towel holders) by the Three Bear’s owner and his team back in the early days of the lodge, each oversized room in the Lodge has a timeless feel, with touches of comfort that will have you relaxed and sleeping well every night you’re here.

Choose between our oversized rooms featuring one or two queen beds. Or, for families and larger parties, you can elect to stay in one of our spacious, two-room suites. The Amenities
Every room features all of the amenities you should expect from a AAA rated property, including a refrigerator and microwave, flat screen LCD TV, and free wifi. And if you’d like a private outdoor space to step outside and smell the fresh mountain air, don’t forget to ask about our rooms with private balconies.
Not too hard, not too soft, but just right! Get cozy and comfortable in our limited Goldilocks themed rooms while the Three Bears are away. With 3 – 4 beds, there is plenty of room for everyone to have their porridge and eat it too!

"The rooms were clean and spacious and the soaking tub was awesome after a day in the snow. The free breakfasts we received as part of our package were outstanding, and our one complimentary dinner was much enjoyed. The entire staff at Three Bear Lodge was friendly and helpful. We also received Imax movie tickets as part of our snowmobiling package, which we really enjoyed. We had a great time here and plan to come back in the spring!"
The Three Bear Lodge History.
As a result of a fire in February 2008, a large section of the original 1932 Three Bear Lodge was carefully dismantled, allowing many of the salvaged materials to be used in the rebuilding, making the new Lodge the most unique lodging property in West Yellowstone. You will be awed by the reclaimed wood, which has been recycled and made into the intriguing public area decor and unique handmade guest room furniture.

The Three Bear Lodge has historically taken an eco-friendly approach to maintaining our property, and we continue to use these sustainability practices to preserve the magical place we call home. Because of this, we have been named an Ecostar lodge.

Legacy of the White Shirt
Long before recycling was the "in" thing, it was thought of as what you did to survive by the Seely family. For example, dad's white shirt. As it became worn, it would get stitched and washed until it no longer was quite as white. It was then used as a work shirt until it was too stained or had too many holes to patch. It was then cut into cleaning rags. Once it could no longer be used in that manner, it was taken to the cook stove to contribute to the fuel supply. The final use of the white shirt became part of the ashes from which the family would make laundry soap on an open fire in a big copper kettle.
